Kentucky goes way off the board in the 4th round

Jonathan Sanchez, LHP.
Scouting Report: Reminds some of Oliver Perez (Mets). Features a plus fastball (89-93 mph) with good life up in the strike zone. Lacks consistency with his slider and changeup. Works under a lot of pitches. Struggles with his command. Questionable stamina.

Sanchez is competing for the 5th starter slot. If he doesn't claim it then he'll pitch in middle relief or set-up. High risk, high reward pick.

Renteria is currently pencilled in as the
team's DH, but could be put on the trade
block if Evan Longoria breaks camp as the
everyday 3B, moving Chone Figgins to the
OF and Pat Burrell to DH.
